Data Use PD prompted dialogue about standards, student achievement, and resources

North Smithfield Schools completed the Data Use Series Initiative during the 2013-14 school year. The team participated in data use professional development and immediately used knowledge gained to analyze curriculum embedded K-12 Math assessment data. Assessments were scored by common core standard and data was uploaded to shared documents. The District Data Use Team analyzed this data and identified patterns and trends recognizing areas of strengths and areas in need of improvement. In addition, the District Data Team created a report for the District Professional Development Advisory Committee to help inform the 2014-15 school year District Professional Development Plan.
